Remember that subtracting a negative number is the same as adding its opposite, the corresponding positive number. 5 - (-1) is the same as 5 + 1. With that in mind:

3 - 1 = 2, so that one's out.
0 - (-4) = 0 + 4 = 4, so that one's in.
-4 - 0 = -4, so that one's out.
-3 - (-7) = -3 + 7 = 7 - 3 = 4, so that one's in.

So the correct answer is (0,-4) and (-3,-7).

Hope that clears it up.

The rule is this::
++ = +
+- = -
-- = +

(0, -4), (-3, -7)
-3 - -7 = 4 Two negatives means the answer will be positive.
0 - -4 = 4 Two negatives means the answer will be positive.

1. 3-1 = 2 NO
2. -4 - 0 = -4 NO

I don't think "none" is the correct answer.

Remember that when you take the negative of a negative, it's positive. So in the case of (0, -4), if you plugged the numbers in you would have 0 - (-4), which equals 0 + 4.

Also, if you have a negative number plus a positive number, you just subtract the negative number from the positive one. -2 + 6 = 6 - 2

That rule will help when you try one of the other pairs. Two of the number pairs you list are correct.
