The phrase is associated with the idea that you struggle when you are going uphill and that it is easier to go downhill, such as in climbing a mountain on a backpack hiking trip. Thus, in that context, you have struggled to get to the top of the mountain and now that you reached the top or the zenith, it is all downhill or easier going from here on out.
Unfortunately the the phrase can also be associated with the struggle of prosperity. When we are working hard and struggling to succeed, we do well and we want the prosperity to continue. If the struggle ceases to be prosperous, then the business is going downhill and that is not what we want. Thus, uphill is equated with success and downhill is equated with failure. So the phrase can mean either good or bad depending upon the context in which it is spoken.

i think that it can mean um like something is ruined or if you think about it could mean that it's going to be easier.
