No, but there are things that you and your wife can do to keep that from happening. My mom was not that great of a mother or mother in law. My husband and i sat down and talked about her and what we could do together to keep me from becoming her. First you have to not become your father in law. Also make sure that the two of you talk. Listen to her, keep communications open so that if she is starting to do something that is like her mother then you can tell her.

They are doing many things with nanotechnology these days!
I read somewhere that the person you marry, whether you are male or female, is a lot like your mother. If that's true, I guess we'll all turn into somebody's mother?

Yep, Its called alcohol, and you take it several times a day. It doesn't stop your wife becoming your mother in law, but it stops you from giving a hoot!

I don't know, but I vowed when I was 10 that I would NEVER become my mother!!!!! And if I do, my and my sister made a vow to take each other out if we did.

I don't know of a drug like that, but if you find one, make sure you let all of the married men know about it as soon as possible.
