Im really getting sick and tired of this s h i t. I wish i could send them a computer virus that shuts them down.

I agree. What I hate is when they swear you're gonna forget what you are doing and mistake their page for the site you were working on. And then, they send pop-ups of the exact same thin you're already looking at. Then the screen freezes when you try to close them "If I can't have you, no one else can."

Bring me the head of Outer Info (Jimmy Surf, Cowabanga) and Yougee!

What companies do this? I've never experienced this.

Are you handing out personal information like candy? Never give out private information unless you know for sure it isn't going to be misused. And if the company really shouldn't need some peice of your personal info (like your phone number for an email order), make it up when they ask for it.

They do it to make money. But, you probably shouldn't be giving out that much information to too many companies. Only ones you absolutely trust. As far as them calling you, there's a simple solution, the National Do Not Call registry:

www.donotcall.gov

Put your phone number in a telemarketers are not allowed to call you. It works, I've done it.

because they know there are a lot of foolish people out there they can sucker into buying their worthless junk. if it didn't work they would move on to some other strategy. just my opinion. :)
