Sure can. Once, while in the Army, we were out on a field training exercise. We had been going at it for quite a while and I had had no sleep for almost three days. I finally managed to grab a couple of hours of sleep in a foxhole while a partner of mine kept the watch. During my sleep, our position was assaulted and the attackers threw a quarter stick of dynamite in the area of our foxhole during the attack. I slept through the whole thing. I woke up none the wiser to the attack and my partner laughed it up wondering how I could sleep through an attack.

When I was about 10 years old I shared a room with my little brother. We had a bunkbed and I slept on top. One night I fell off the top bunk and rolled under the bottom bed.
A questionable amount of time later I woke up while the room was still pitch black. Imagine my surprise when I tried to sit up and smacked my head on the bottom bunk! I completely freaked out and had to have my brother turn the light on so I could see how to get out.

I can't say personally, but my daughter was sleeping one night and I was woken up by a sound that was similar to a train. My fiance was also woken up by the same sound. Our power was out and leaves, branches, trees were flying everywhere. There was a tornado that came about 1/2 mile from our apartment. I picked my daughter up out of bed. I carried her into the bathroom where we stayed for over a 1/2 hour. Then I carried her back into her room and put her back into bed. She never woke up once and still never remembers the event.

OMG you brought back a bad memory! Well that's ok. I'll start at the beginning! Ok, so it's the night before Thanksgiving and my dad had been working on an engine to one of our trucks. He put hours and hours and hours of work into, months he spent fixing it! So he finally got it done, and it was hanging in place in our garage, ready to be put into the truck Thanksgiving morning. I go to bed, dreaming of mashed potatoes and such. I wake up from a continuous sleep, I didn't wake up AT ALL that night. I go outside to get the mail, and find that our garage had been burnt down to the ground. I ran back to the house, and my dad explained everything. People had been banging on our door, there were alarms, the telephone ringing, screaming, EVERYTHING and I slept through it. I can't believe it! I mean, the fire siren didn't even wake me up! But I think that it's best that I didn't wake up and see the fire. I would have been traumatized; I'm scared of fire!!
That's mine. Yours is kind of funny ;) lol

I was working 2nd. shift, After getting home about 1:30 am, and going to bed about 4 am. Our neighbor always enjoyed mowing their grass about 8:30 am. That morning ( I was asleep) he decided to cut a tree down right by me bedroom window, and mulch it up also by my bedroom window. And mow his grass, I take it this had lasted for several hours.
When my boyfriend came home, I was still sawing logs( asleep) he woke me up so we could spend some time together before I had to go back into work. As we're outside walking around The neighbor asked if I was awoken by the sounds of the tree falling. I asked him what he was talking about and he said he had a tree removed by our bedroom window. I did not believe him, so I walked to the side of the house to see for myself, the tree was gone, but I didn t hear a thing. Talking about DEAD to the world, I sure was, and even to this day I sleep like that.

Once there was a car that jumped the railroad tracks and ended up in the yard by my bedroom. The guy had to be airlifted to the hospital. There were sirens, people everywhere, screaming and carrying on. I never heard a thing.

that's common for a three month old to wake each 3 hours for a feeding. it genuinely relies upon on the toddler so a procedures as even as they sleep by ability of the evening. i have heard of a few who sleep by ability of the evening at 6 weeks, and others who nevertheless awaken for evening feedings at 9 months! purely be particular once you feed her, you're feeding her till she rejects the bottle. For awhile i replaced into feeding my son 3 oz. and he replaced into waking up each 2-3 hours at evening. the issue replaced into, he replaced into eating those 3 oz. and regardless of the very incontrovertible actuality that he wasn't thoroughly finished, he replaced into content textile for the timebeing. So he were given hungry that a lot swifter. when I upped the quantity i replaced into feeding him he all started drowsing longer. he's 9 weeks and extremely last evening he slept for 7 hours immediately! WOO HOO!!! yet another element you should do to is to be particular your toddler is conscious that it really is evening time. once you upward push as a lot as feed her, shop the lighting fixtures and sounds low/off. do not make distinct eye contact even as feeding her. once she's executed eating and her diaper has been replaced, positioned her proper back to mattress. good success! i'm particular she'll be drowsing by ability of the evening quickly =)

My family races in the NHRA circuit. One day we drove to Indianapolis for a big race. We were there for an hour or so, and was then about 5am. I had to go to the bathroom, so I walk down to a Porta-Potty next to the race track. I fell asleep in it for about an hour and wouldn't have woken up had a Super-Comp car not parked next to me and revved its engine. Scared the crap out of me. Literally. lol
