1st, if you're taking aspirin & they're not doing it for you before you go with stronger meds go see a dr. Make sure there's no other reason for the headaches. Simple home remedy without med, lie down in darkened QUIET room with cool cloth over eyes. Try. If still not working try relaxation techniques to keep your focus off of the pain & if this works or at least helps you're heading in the right direction. Relaxation ideas: aromatherapy, soothing music (Very soft in background), get a massage, visualization (I imagine I'm in San Diego), sometimes I tell myself a very elaborate story in my head so that the details engross me so much I'm not obsessing over the pain or whatever else might be stressing me. I hope you feel better soon.

Put the coffee down, grab two 12 to 16 oz glasses of gatorade and go to a cool dark room. Drink the gatorade within 30 minutes. Over sleeping means you were not drinking and you CAN get headaches from dehydration when you do not feel dehydrated. Coffee will only further aggravate a true migraine and will only add to your dehydration if that is the case. Caffeine is no good for either. If you do not have any gatorade grab a can of chicken broth or chicken soup out of the pantry and eat it without crackers and drink a huge glass of orange juice. The soup has sodium and the oj sugar and both have fluids your body needs. Not as quick as Gatorade (or the store brand) but beats driving to the store with a headache. Get well soon.

Excedren.I have no idea how it's spelled,it's been years since I took it,but it used to be the only thing that would work for me.And make sure you're drinking enough water. If you're dehydrated, you will get a headache. If it's something that's lasting more than a day or two, check for gas leaks to be sure that's not the problem. If it's a sinus headache, you'll just have to experiment with sinus pills to see what works best.

Get a massage on your neck and shoulders. If you have nobody to do it for you, you can buy some kind of device to do it. Most headaches are caused by muscle tension in the neck and upper back. Migraines are different, though.

having sex with an orgasm is the best way. however, caffeine is also great. even though caffeine can be a headache trigger, it can also be a cure. i get migraines and i take Excedrin Migraine with a coke. if i take it right away, it takes the headache away. if i wait, then i get a full blown migraine. not a happy camper. anyway, take the excedrine and then sex just for the heck of it. lol
