I would imagine very few Americans are aware of this fact. Such things don't make the evening news here often and when they do, they skip over quick and light.

Not surprised at all. Given time, the money seekers of the world will kill our planet.

Just what I'd expect from a Bush. They and their devoted followers want to rape the planet. Given a choice between recycling paper and cutting down trees to make more, they'd rather kill trees even if it raises the price of paper.
