Aren't they proud? Don't they do our country proud? Aren't they trying their best to help the country by pointing out all our faults in front of the world, calling our elected officials names (and then hiding under the name "Republican" or "Democrat"), spreading unfounded rumors in the long established principle of "guilty until proven innocent beyond a shadow of a doubt", and printing EVERY bad piece of news they can about our country and its efforts in the name of "keeping the public informed".
This will help us, won't it? They are doing it out of their patriotic duty and the goodness of their hearts.
You believe that's best for us, don't you? Be sure to vote for those who do this, so we can have more. Don't vote for Lieberman, or Rice, or any of those people, because they don't understand world politics like America-Haters do.

I'm always fascinated at the answerers who automatically see themselves in my questions. Tells you a lot, doesn't it? Interesting how sedition and free speech have been confused. Sedition is covered by free speech, but it isn't the same thing. It's almost like they are saying, "I can't dissent, disagree, or protest without sedition." That doesn't say much for their creativity or intelligence. They did the same thing when attacking President Clinton. Republicans, Democrats, any new compliments for them?

Are you sure they hate America? Perhaps they love America, and feel the need to speak out against what is happening to their beloved country.
To quote Edward R. Murrow - "We must not confuse dissent with disloyalty. When the loyal opposition dies, I think the soul of America dies with it."
It's important not to confuse dislike for "our elected officials" with dislike for our country.

I'm sorry. I was under the impression that full and accurate public information is necessary to the functioning of a democratic society, being that it's hard for voters to make intelligent decisions when they have no information to base it upon. Thank you for correcting me on this.
Further, I've always thought that the honorable thing to do when one encounters wrongdoing is to illuminate it and correct it. I see now that maintaining an air of infallibility is much more important than the truth.
I wonder how many others have fallen for America-Hating "truth" and "free exchange of ideas" when you've made it so evident that the "Dirty Little Secrets" method of government is infinitely more effective and just. Thank you for saving me from myself.

You know you are absolutly right. I think a good American should essientially plug their ears and let our government do pretty much whatever they want. I mean no one with executive power has ever abused said power ever before in history.
Oh wait a second...
Pointing out flaws in America's leadership is important. If the points are irrelevant or untrue people will look past them. If the arguments agaisnt are leadership have definite merit then not only should they be heard, they MUST be heard.
The only people who hate America are the ones who allow their government to do whatever they want with zero-oversight.
