The Little Red Hen - Rugged Individualist or greedy Capitalist? Why?

that's funny. hmmmm...I'm going to go with Capitalist, although I won't say greedy. Greedy is when someone else does all of the work, you take the credit, and the profit. SHe is a leader I would vote for. good question!

I'm going with communist. She really wants to share the wealth in return for sharing the work (think pre-USSR Russia). When this falls apart (think USSR, 1920's) she monopolizes the wheat supply and lets her fellow barnyard citizens starve (think Stalinist USSR).

Little known is the Little Red Hen, part 2, where she brutally collectivizes her chicks, is invaded by barnyard swine she had previously made a non-aggression deal with, she defeats them in cooperation with a ragtag coalition of other animals, splits the pig pen into two zones (East Pigpen and West Pigpen), and, long story short, ultimately loses the whole thing when the wheat supply fails. The hen house is now being run by a chick mafia.
