because people are lazy and always in a rush to be somewhere. the irony is that people are willing to drive around and waste time in their cars to get a seemingly close spot when they could have parked farther away and already been in the door of their destination...

because the best parking spots are the ones you don't have to walk far for. that's why they are the best spots because they are right out front. (humans are a lazy race)

You answered this one yourself.Because they're farthest.I,however,like to park far away.It's the only exercise I get,sometimes.Good for the heart,good for others that can't walk as far as me.I just wish they would keep the carts caddied.
