It is a popular scam used primarily by Nigerian groups, but have also popped up in a variety of European countries. These scams try to get you to pay money to cover the "taxes" on the estate, or just relinquish your account information, so that the con artists can make checks and credit cards using your bank account info. If it were a real inheritance, you would be able to have any fees deducted from the proceeds of the wire. It is a scam. Don't waste your time.

Scam. They will try to get you to give them bank account info so they (supposedly) can transfer millions into your account. Only they empty the account instead. Delete the e-mail.
