Well, I have done a few book reports on this subject. The legend of Atlantis was told to Plato by someone in Egypt. Maybe in one of the tombs the true stroy might be waiting to be told.

I think Atlantis was part of North A. at one time

Atlantis was a myth created by the philosopher Plato to illustrate certain principles of his political philosophy. it is one among many. There are no other sources that are truly ancient that pre-date Plato in mentioning this lost civilization that was supposed to have such an effect. That alone is strong evidence it was not real. Also, no one in the ancient world after Plato understood this myth to be literal history.

They say that its at the bottom of the atlantic ocean and recent studies have shown that they have found a flat hill under the ocean that stretches roughly 2 miles (its so amazing because they say that no ground is completely flat) they say that could have been a river so that means that it was once above land if it was a river which could lead us to the newest discovery of ATLANTIS:THE LOST CITY

Most people say it never existed and I have seen no proof that it did. It was first spoken of in the works of Plato. There have been many expeditions to try and uncover proof of it, but nothing has even been found.

Depends on who you ask. Some say the Atlantic & Caribbean, others near Santorini, and some the now frozen-continent of Antartica.
