Pretty much anything by M night shamalyan or however you spell his name is destined to be a dissapointment. After all his marketing hype he put out for unbreakable & especially for signs all for them to be some damn religious propaganda. I will never waste another moment watching anything by him or his boy-toy mel gibson.

With all the hype that the adverising did for The Village it was a sort of let down, but I have the DVD and could watch it everyday. It really is a great movie. I think that he is a different kind of film maker than we are used to and think we should give it a chance. I am going to watch his next movie, but I will prepare myself for any dissappointment that it could have. I don't usually care who gives it two thumbs up, If I can watch it everyday and not get bored with it then I like it. All his other movies are movies that I would watch any day and do not expect this one to be any different. Don't go see it to be scared, go to be entertained the M. Night Shyamalan way!

I think it will be brilliant. I think he probably relaized his mistake with the Villiage, and this time made a movie that is actually meaningful, and not just a support system for a twist ending.

And even though The Village wasn't that great, it was still 10 times better than the hundreds of crappy remakes and old TV show movies that the studios pump out.

Personally, I liked The Village, but I'm not real sure about Lady in the Water. Looks kinda boring.

Not me. I think it looks great. I will see every movie he ever makes! I think the Village was his worst, but only because the other three were so good. I think Lady in the Water looks very good. I love Shyamalan, Giamatti, and Howard all three. And I love monster movies.

Everyone thinks his movies are supposed to be scary. They arent.
Even though I was the biggest fan of The Village, I still thought it was an ok plot.
I think Lady in the Water looks pretty good. I look forward to seeing Paul Giamatti act in it.

Nah I don't. I don't think the Village sucked either. Modern movie goers just have have attention problems,no imagination, and just lack the intelligence to understand films.

They'd rather watch a brain dead slasher film than an intelligent suspense thriller

I think it is being marketed the wrong way.

It is being made out to look like a horror story, which I don't think will be the case.

Much similar to the marketing for The Village...

Infact, thats why most people didn't like it.

It looks incredibly lame. I think it's going to be a much bigger turd than The Village.
