I'm the mobile expert..just listen....the best quality company but also the most expensive company is nokia so you probably wont give a 1000$ for a cell prone...the best company that gets a cell phone to a "small man" is a Sony ericsson..now you asked for the best phones....here you go:
http://mobile.softpedia.com/phones/Sony-Ericsson/Sony-Ericsson-W850.shtml
http://mobile.softpedia.com/phones/Sony-Ericsson/Sony-Ericsson-K800i-K800c.shtml
http://mobile.softpedia.com/phones/Sony-Ericsson/Sony-Ericsson-W900.shtml
and one that's the best of nokia:

check the links and try to find a price and you will see that I'm right

Bluetooth + MP3's? Not Verizon. They let you play music, but only WMAs.

Go for the Samsung T809 on T-Mobile. It's a thin slider and has both of your requirements along with a microSD slot and a 1.3 megapixel camera.

If you want a flip phone that does that, wait a month or two for the LG CU500 on Cingular. Thin, Cingular Video with highet data speeds, bluetooth, MP3 player, microSD slot, and a rotating 1.3 megapixel camera.

It depends on the area that you live in. Certain carriers are better in some places than they are in others. I've had Cingular for about 6 years now. I've never had problems with the service but just recently got a decent phone. I've tried motorolas for years and years. Recently I switched to a Nokia 6102i and LOVE IT!! I've never had a dropped call, and reception is great since I got the right phone.

It's called "holofon". Released last month by the unusual partnership of Nokia, Ericsson and Motorola. There were only 15 units brought out and there will never be others. They sell one unit every 15th of the month to the highest bidder. So far, only two units were bought. By Bill Gates and Sultan Bolkiah. Gates bought his at $150,000 while Bolkiah bought one at $215,000. Why the cost? It is because those fones are holographic. It's like a simple watch but when you press a button, a holographic phone appears but it works like any normal mobiles... and has all the features of all mobile phones combined.
