Not really. I think it's more nerves than anything. It didn't hurt for the first day or two. After that it was a little tender, but I love it!

It depends. It didn't hurt when I had mine done, though there is a level of pain with any needle going through your body. The result was worth the 3 seconds of pain(on a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being the most, the pain was about a 1 or 1 1/2). If one has a really good piercing technician, the pain should be minimal to none. Make sure piercing enviroment is sterile, the piercer is certified, and make sure aftercare is maintained. :)

More than likely, yes. I had never pierced anything in my body. But, hon, don't ruin the true beauty you have. I know I may sound like a grandma but it can get infected and stuff. So I suggest you just leave it like that. Ok? :)

i heard that it fills like a pinch and then it's gone because it hurts more when you change the belly button ring then when you do it

Anyone that I know that has one has said it doesn't hurt when it gets done, but it is sore for some time afterwards. It really sucks if it gets infected, then it's really painful and you have to wash it with salt water which burns.

Got mine done almost 7 yrs ago, it hurt.. i cried, but then again i was only 13, they did it wrong, and i was so nervous i scared myself... however, the other 3 girls i was with said it didnt hurt at all. just a tiny pinch.

Takes a long time to heal, and it is really tender for a while.

when u get it done it feels like someone pinches u..u cant feel it go through and u feel it come out like another pinch...
