I know it may sound strange, but thats the way i am sometimes. its like, I feel like a clown holding a gun: happy and joyful, but serious and scary. is anyone else like this?

Samantha,
Yes I do and so do many others. That is human nature and it is OK. How could we know joy if there was no sadness? They are opposites that we sometimes think cannot happen at the same time when they often do. But think about it - sadness is actually just lack of joy, just like cold is lack of heat or darkness - lack of light. So when we are sad, we have forgotten about joy or have blocked it in some way even if part of it can still be there in our subconscious mind...

So feeling like a clown with a gun is OK and normal as long as you do not chose to trigger the gun but just to entertain or scare the audience. :) Don't be afraid to have and experience those polar or opposite emotions - they are normal and as you let them be, they will go away. Try to observe them as if you are watching yourself from outside and don't feel as if you have to act on them. You will be surprised at what happens. Try it out. And let me know. :)

No, I am mostly always sad, and it's getting worse instead of better...I don't want to give up but I did and it makes me sadder than ever........I hate me........
