Does he have a future in NASCAR with Chip Ganassi racing??

Yes he brings that winning attitude that took him to a cart championship,and indy 500 win and 7 victories in the f1 series. He mostdefinately has a future in Cup racing. Wait till he realizes he has a bumper on the front of his car to move people out of the way. Future cup champion!

He wasn't fired, he agreed with Ron Dennis and the rest of the McLaren staff not to racefor the rest of this season, to prepare for the dizziness of the ovals.
He might have luck with Ganassi. After all, he won in his team both the IndyCar championship and the Indy 500 before coming to F1.

I'd love to see him succeed, but I honestly doubt he will. He may have some level of success on the road courses, but I think he'll struggle on the ovals. I think NASCAR wants him for their own marketing purposes, but I don't think they care if he succeeds. Time will only tell. I wish him luck. I enjoyed watching him when he raced in CART.

cal-p, you are absolutely correct. Watch out for Montoya he will learn that touching another car is to his advantage, not disadvantage like in F1. Good luck Juan!

Yes he was fired. Maybe he will do OK in NASCAR, maybe not. The good ol' boys will give him a hard time on the track for sure.

Montoya will be in the #42 car in AUGUST!!!!!!!!!that when his debut will be according to nascar.com
