I am black, white, and latino and a lot of the world hates me for it. I cant help my genes any more than anyone else. We are in the 21st century and its sad that people are judged on the color of their skin. My whole life I have been put down, but never kept down, all because I have some color in me. Can someone please tell me why people today are still so ignorant?

Sad to say but this is the way of the world and it sucks! I don't think we'd live to see the end of racism to be honest. You have to try and not sweat it and no one hates you (hopefully) and if you need to feel better you can tell urself they hate you coz you look so good. I'm sure you look good with that mix!

I wish I knew and could change this problem. A lot of it is taught at home. You see it growing up, and then you believe it. I am in Northeast TN, in the Mountains, and you can imagine rascism here. I think it's horrible. I don't feel any different about skin color no more than I do hair or eye color, height or weight. Maybe the world will one day wake up.

Maybe it is the culture they are stereotyping or possibly the way you may be presenting yourself. For me, it's not the skin color. It's the rap music culture, the rapper dress style, the ebonic language, the lack of family values etc. I feel the same amount of disdain for white people who present themselves in this way too. Your writing style indicates an educated mind. I hope you speak as well and dress as well. This will never go away. The majority (X) will always hold disdain for the minority (Y). Compare Christians thoughts about other religions, compare american football lovers to soccer lovers, compare blacks feelings about renecks and vice versa.

its the way they are raised like of respect mostly. but most people fear any thing or any one that is different. things are gonna end the way they began and that is there will be only one race in the end. sooner or later every one will have a ancestor of ever single race on this earth i my self am white, English, American Indian, Irish,German, black dutch, and my great great great grandmother was part Mexican. i have cousins who are half Mexican some who are half black. and i love them all
i have straight brown hair and green eyes and medium skin if i stay out in the sun i get dark as a full blooded Indian

I think you are blaming society for your own behavior. Very few people HATE anyone based on the color of their skin.
Maybe you should relax a bit.

the worlds crazy. the whole color thing never made sence to me. its ok to say black power but if you say white power you are recest the black people think i hate them because i fly my rebel flag. the wold is stupid and rediculas and theres nothing we can do about i. so get over it.

i know what you mean, i'm from the most hated race and have the most racist people attacking me, of course i'm talking about the white race, everyone hates us ,no matter how much we give them................
