I suppose prehistoric men were a bit less refined

Oh, please, bible bangers... the rest of us know full well of your fable of how some god just molded us out of playdough (mud?) for his amusement out of boredom or something. Did you ever consider that some silly, far-sighted librarian missed labeling that book as FICTION? (Hmmm... ever notice that bookstores don't put that book on neither, the Fiction or Non-Fiction shelves?) It's in a separate category, Religion, with books about all sorts of other gods and stuff.

No. We did not evolve from no monkey or any other thing. God created us. If we did evolve from monkey's then why are there still monkeys? Did some monkey's just not make it? If we did, I wish the stupid people in this world would not have made it. They were better off being monkey's.

It depends on what you mean by "lower" forms of life. If you mean insects, then no. Most scientists beleive that life originated in the ocean...and progressed from microscopic cells, to fish, then to anphibians, then to small rodents like mice, then finally us!

i wouldnt neccessarily say lower, but less evolved creatures. through time we slowly evovled more complicated organ systems and brains. But yes we evolved from simple once celled organisms.
