Personally, It's not for me. And it's apparently not for God, since he destroyed two cities for it in the Old Testament. However, since Jesus died on the cross, we have been under God's grace, and therefore we do have free will. I am not the one to judge them, or I will be judged by them. But we will all be judged by God. I say, let God do his job. He's been at it a lot longer than any one of us.
A few of the problems I personally have with it, is for one, they want freedom to marry. Why would they want to marry the same sex? Marriage is an institution sanctioned by God, and was intended for a man and a woman to procreate and multiply. They want to be a part of His most sacred of institutions, but yet live a life that He didn't create the institution for?
It's an oxymoron. They can't have children from this union, so for what purpose then? Companionship? Seems they already have that.
If you choose to live your life against the norm, why do you want to participate in the things associated with the norm? I just don't get that one.
Another thing is, why do they feel that they have to shout it out, and have parades celebrating their preferences in sleep partners?
If heteros did this, we would be called crazy, and probably some other names too.
All of us have certain unalienable rights. The pursuit of happiness is one them, but I guess since it doesn't specify HOW much happiness, some people take it to the extreme.
It doesn't take away from their intelligence in any way, because there are just as many intelligent homosexuals as there are heterosexuals. As a heterosexual, I don't feel the need to shout it out. What gives them the right to? Isn't that infringing upon a heterosexuals rights? Whatever I do in the bedroom, that's where it stays. Why must we know what goes on in theirs? Isn't that infringing upon us heterosexuals too? And finally our pursuit of happiness is infringed upon when we try to instruct our children in the ways of the norm of society. Aren't our rights to raise our children as we see fit infringed upon when we now have to explain to them why those two men are slobbering it up in the park? I'd do the same explanation if it were a man and a woman slobbering it up too. If it's a lack of public decency when hetoros do it, why is it called a civil rights case and prejudice when they do it in front of children, and anyone else?
So yes, I'm against it for my life choice.

no and if two heterosexuals (for example brittney spears and that dude in las vegas) who dont love each other have the right to mock the sacride union of marriage than two homosexuals that actually do love each other have the same right (just not in the church)

No, there's NOTHING wrong with being homosexual, I'm not, but there is really nothing wrong, i really don't see what the big deal is with gays or lesbians or even bisexuals, we should let them get married or engaged or whatever so that they can suffer like everyone who is straight. :)

I'm not against people being gay. It's not their fault. But I am against gay marriage.
