I'd reccomend proactiv for your acne. Then, I'd go eith neutrogena on makeup. It's a dollar or two more expensive than say, covergirl, but it's made to be very good for your skin. They have oil-free bases and things.

I use marykay- oil free.... I had very bad acne when I was growing up..and I have learned over the years..that washing my hair and face at night, even w/ just soap..was better for my skin..because I think all of the stuff I put in my hair during the day got on my pillow..and then made my face break out... and I also have found that mary kay has an acne cream for men..(its works great for women too)...it dries the ance out quick.... good luck...

The only way you can find the best makeup and face wash to use is to try different ones. Everyone's skin is different and responds to different things. Example, I tried Proactive when I had acne and it didn't do a thing, but Cetaphil and the Serious Skin Care line from HSN did, but my sister and mother are allergic to those so that didn't work for them.
Go to the cosmetics counter and see if they have samples and just try things. For the drugstore cosmetics, you can often get samples by requesting them through their website.

Prescriptives Flawless is great in that it covers beautifully and for the whole day without irritating the skin. As far as acne wash, Cetaphil is great.

Proactive DOES work very good.
As for foundation, I like Avon - BUT, I will say - that Bare Essentials really looks like it would be wonderful for the skin. Personally, I'm going to check it out. :)
