If someone has several broken bones without falling, etc., I've heard it could be a bone disease. Has anyone had any help by going to an Endocrinologist?

An Endocrinologist will check the hormone levels in your system. If certain hormones levels are out of balance, it can cause decalcification of the bones.....the bones will be brittle and look like a sponge on x-rays, they break easily even without falling or hurting yourself.

Just an FYI: Endocrinologists treat conditions associated with hormones. Musculoskeletal specialists are orthopedic doctors.

An endocrinologist is all about hormones, metabolism, diabetes. They may be able to help you determine what deficiency you have that is causing your bones to be brittle.
