and why just triplets when you can be siamese quads or quints or whatever.

Dr. Daniel Kessler, also of the Medical School: "Research into the embryology of animals indicates that Siamese triplets could form, but the frequency of Siamese triplets in humans is predicted to be far lower than Siamese twins, and the live birth of Siamese triplets would be even less likely."

I think the thing is that siamese twins are not common at all. There are probably like 1 pair born for every 5,000,000 babies born

As for the others, it's probably possible. But, due to the nature of how their bodies would join, the physiology of the three conjoined bodies would not be able to hold up

Siamese twins aren't common. Only a few pairs exist, even sets that are no longer conjoined. Many conjoined twins don't survive to term, and I imagine that triplets would almost never survive to term.

The probability of having identical triplets is small enough without having them be conjoined. There is a possibility of their existence, but it is a small probablity.
