Go to a high place and gradually let the slinky lower, try weighing it down as well and leave it there for a while, after a few hours check on it, slowly bring it back up and the slinky should be as good as new...

If it's metal, throw it out. The tangle will bend the metal and it will never work right again.
If its the plastic kind, theonly thing that works it to work patiently, starting at one end and slowly unwind and untie it.

Observe the tangle and slowly begin to work it out, it can be done.
Just do it slowly and mindfully, don't stretch it or bend it.

lol. well it depends on how tangled it is. but i would suggest that finding the beginning and going through the end. lol funny
