I saw this show on History Channel about the Aztecs and how they ritually cut the hearts out of 20,000 people in 4 days. It seems like it would be kind of cool and trendy in a sort of Modern Primitive kind of way. I mean, genital piercing, scarification...this seems like the next step, doesn't it?

Open the abdomen. Highlight the organs with sterile florescent paint and then graft a clear plastic sheet over it. Day-glow guts on display - what could be cooler.

I guess you'll have to go find or start a cult to do that, because the stuff they do in the studios is for fashion only, not ritual.
