In a literal sense, I would have to answer yes, as imagination requires thought, and there are biochemical limits to the number of neural connections available in the human brain. However, I'd pose that the limits are so extreme as to essentially reach infinity, at least in relation to the context of the question.

I believe you have asked an inappropriate question.

our imagination is a result of our consciousness. Our consciousness is a dependently arising part of the self. in other words, consciousness and brain chemistry are not causally related. ie brain chemistry causes consciousness. Rather, brain chemistry and consciousness arise and change at the same time.

So, it is more appropriate to ask if there is a conscious limitation to our imagination.

I think that limit is our experience. We cannot imagine a thing that has a property which we have never experienced. So, I can imagine "dragon" even though it doesn't exist because it consists of existing properties. try to imagine a property that doesn't exist and isn't made up of other properties. I don;t think it can be done.

I certainly hope not! As a writer I believe that my Muse, being fickle, has, nonetheless, a limitless capacity for inspiration. I believe it depends on how open-minded you are, and how dedicated you are to your art:)

I have not found that. But, I see what you mean. I think it's like anything else in life, the more you use it, the more you gain, the less you use it, the more likely you are to lose it.

imagination is an abstract concept. things that are concrete or definite have limits. However if you do find a limit to imagination, please do share. :)
