How exactly do you "destroy paintings on the wall" when you are in the Chamber of Secrets gamecube game?

Where are the paintings in the Chamber and what spell do you use to destroy them?

On a lot of websites, I see cheats about destroying paintings on the wall while you are in the Chamber... Is this for another console or does it work for the gamecube version too?

Hi again,
I am quite sure it works on GameCube, but I'm not sure how you do it though. You either use a spell (try flipendo) or go up to it and press 'A.'
