I think it only did about 1.5 million, which is horrible.
But I watched it last night and it wasn't that bad. Actually a lot better than other junk that did much better in the box office...
So why did it do so bad? Was it the marketing?

i thought it was good. I think it happens because other movies that were released around the same time had more press release and more media coverage you know, it sucks but for the few of us fans it was still a good movie, I bought it!

Marketing might have been an issue with the movie, but the problem was the script and acting itself.
When you play the game (like I have played them both), you have a sense of who she is and the background she has. The movie went too fast around her, and gave it the obligatory sex scene, instead of giving it substance. You were left wanting more and hoping that it would do the game justice, as Tomb Raider had given.

The movie was among the worst movie I have ever seen in my life. It should have never been made.
