I just need the ends because I am going to make my rods out of pvc pipe you'll never see it. The rod sizes I need are too expensive, I need two that are 156 in long and one that is 106 in long. I checked on the rods and there's no way I'm spending that much money when the pvc pipes will work just fine. Now all I need are finials to put on the end of the pipes and no one will ever know the difference. I found some on ebay that I may get but I want to look around a little first. Oh and if you have any ideas that are better than the pvc pipe and costs about the same let me know. I just bought some curtains form smartbargains.com for $130 dollars that would have cost $500 dollars else where. I just thought I'd let you know in case you were looking for some bargains they have just about everything.

You have several choices. You can use wood turnings found at craft stores and are used as little feet for box making and they come in sevral sizes. Just find one large enough to fit and be glued in the end of your pvc. They are ready to be painted or finished as you wish. Also, in Lowes they have wooden finials for under 5.00. They are unfinished and have screws in the ends to be used as furniture feet, but could be glued easily in your pipe. Another tip, cover a strofoam ball with fabric that coodinates with your draperies and glue them in the ends. Finally, in the gardening department of drug, discount and home improvement stores there are beautiful glass watering globes. They are handblown, come in different designs and colors. They have a long tube on the end to fill with water and insert into the plant to provide water to the plant. Simply glue the globe to the end and let the tube be hidden in the pvc.

I would check a store like Target or Walmart. They have some cute, reasonably priced home furnishings.

Hobby Lobby, Michael's, Pier One (on the more pricey side)

I believe IKEA sells them...really cute ones too, and you can't beat IKEA's prices.
