First things First. It is about America. Period. IF we go back to Thomas Jefferson and the Founding Fathers of America, we will see as a Fact the following statement(s)... Put your Country before your Political Party.
The problem with "Conservatives" is that they are so thrilled with having a Republican President and Government - that they could care less about America and care only to hold onto Power.
The President is NOT the Problem as MOST American Presidents are merely Puppets of their Handlers (the People who pull the strings on the President's Words and Actions and tell the President what to do).
IF you have learned your American History, you will know that American Presidents rarely make their own decisions - especially, "Conservative" Presidents.
Thus, Logically - when we consider that most Americans are pretty much ignorant about most anything that they do not see on Television - Americans will erroneously FOCUS on a President - when the problem is about the Government and the People who run things. An American President is just a Paper Cut-Out Representative of his Handlers and Administration.
Because Liberals KNOW that Most Americans cannot think for themselves and recognize that an American President is NOT the Government - Liberals will talk about the "Actions of a President" rather than the actions of the Government... because Most Americans cannot understand the difference between an American President and his Administration.
Liberals DO NOT Hate George Bush.
Liberals are FRUSTRATED with the BLIND ALLEGIANCE that "Conservatives" have for the Republican Government.
Liberals DO NOT Understand WHY "Conservatives" could care less about America and only care about being in Power.
IF you think that George W. Bush's Government and Administration has done things that are GOOD for America...
you are Blind to Reality.
Katrina.
Iraq.
Torture.
Eavesdropping.
Wiretapping.
Corruption.
Corporate Influence Peddling and Cronyism.
The list is Endless.
There is NOTHING on the List of what George W. Bush's Presidency has DONE since January 20, 2001... that is Good for America.
You call it "Hating" on George Bush.
Liberals call it common sense about what is GOOD for America.
Try looking at it the way Liberals Look at it... "Conservatives" are Blinded by their Loyalty to the Republican Party - to the point - that "Conservatives" cannot see how THEY are suffering under George Bush's Presidency.
What amazes Liberals is HOW a Middle-Class Republican can be so Loyal to a Presidential Government that COULD CARE LESS about Middle-Class Average Americans.
Do you Think that all those Poor People who have suffered from Katrina are ALL Liberals ?
Do you Think that all those Poor American Soldiers who have Died or been Maimed or Lost a Limb in Iraq - are ALL Liberals ?
Do you Think that when the American Standard of Living is Reduced and the National Debt is headed towards Bankruptcy - that ONLY Liberals will Suffer ?
Do you Think that because you are a "Conservative" that the George W. Bush Administration either CARES about You or Will Look out for You IF the **** hits the Economic Fan ?
"Conservatives" Want to Believe they are Good Americans...
Okay... does being a Good American Mean that you STOP Caring about Every American and only care about Republicans ?
Does being a Good American mean that you HATE or DIS-RESPECT Other Americans (Liberals) who are on Welfare ?
Does being a Good American mean that you BELIEVE your Leaders when ALL THEY DO is DIVIDE America instead of Work to Bring America TOGETHER ?
Does being a Good American mean that you just HATE, DISCRIMATE, LABEL, and LOOK DOWN on Poor Americans ?
There is a saying - "There but for the Grace of God - Go I".
Look at that Homeless Person or Welfare Recipient who cannot get a Job or Poor Person who has NO Future - do you FORGET tthat they are also Americans ? Or do you see them as lower life forms or "animals" that are SPOILING your Good Times ?
Being an American has a Responsibility - to EVERY American.
So, when a President DIVIDES the Country and ATTACKS the US Constitution and the Bill of Rights and Does whatever BENEFITS his Cronies, his most Powerful Allies, and the Agenda of what his Administration Wants...
WITH NO REGARD for Every American...
That President is NOT an American.
Wrapping yourself in the American Flag, thumping your Bible, and Claiming that you are a Patriotic Republican...
does NOT make you what you say you are.
ACTIONS MAKE YOU AN AMERICAN. Not Words.
So, I ask you - tell me 3 things that George Bush's Presidency has DONE that are GOOD for America.
Fighting Terrorism does not Count - because IF you have a Clue, you know that this Presidency has made America LESS Secure.
You say you are Right ?
Based upon What ?
Seriously.
Tell Me WHAT the George Bush Administration has DONE FOR AMERICA - that is TRUE, FACTUAL, and can be Substantiated to Anybody who has a Functioning Brain and Thinks for themselves.
Oh - in case you already forgot - Liberals talk about George Bush because that is WHO "Conservatives" BELIEVE is Running America into the Ground.

Please stop stereotyping and generalizing. I get enough of that for being black! Add a "some" to the front of "libs," please. All liberals don't make every question about Bush. Some of them do. Stop letting the ignorant ones get to you. A lot of people use this site to rant. There are also some kids on here who know nothing about politics, just that their parents hate GWB. So that's what they get on here and say. Obviously, there are people in both parties guilty of making irrational and misguided statements.
If that was foaming at the mouth, feel free to put a bit in my mouth and call me Cujo.
**If the person below me does not recognize the irony of his answer, HA! You are officially Cujo.

Because in our experiences, anytime someone askes a question like the one you talk about (I saw it as well) it is usually to compensate for the shortcomings of the current administration. "Okay, our president isn't doing well, so what can we do to make him look better? I know! Let's ask who was worse, Carter or Clinton!"
It is the same the other way around. When I ask a republican about Bush being a bad president, they usually counter with "Well he's better than Clinton...he couldn't keep it in his pants." So it happens all around.

Why did you ask such a biased question that limited the choices and using the term "worse" as a modifier. You are so blinded by your unconditional love for Bush that you have to post lame questions in a pathetic attempt to deflect attention from your "boy".

Progressives have fixated on Bush, and I think that the focus should be on a bigger picture and look at the root cause of systematic deception, corruption, and inequality that affects everyone, including the majority of conservatives living in poverty who are being used by the conservative party.
As it stands now, giant corporations have a stranglehold on power. They "buy" government officials with campaign contributions, lobbying, and media coverage (8 corporations own 90% of the mass media in the US and 80% in the world. Investigative reporting is disappearing and reporters rely on official sources), and high paying jobs in the private sector for former regulators.
In return they get jobs and influencial positions in regulatory and policy agencies, foreign policy that uses military to protect business interests overseas, tax cuts, deregulation on trade policies, selling arms to developing countries, environmental and worker abuse, and anti-trust (not to mention lucrative contracts).
We think that we live in a system of free enterprise where competition drives down prices, drives up quality and choice, and provides jobs. In reality, corporations have become so big, powerful, and vertically integrated (single company owning raw materials, manufacturing, AND distribution), that it is virtually impossible for competitors to enter the market and survive. We think we have choice and quality, but if you want to buy goods that are good for society the choices get fewer and more expensive. Try to find a T-shirt that wasn't made by slave labor for less than $20.
So how does this perpetuate the gap between rich and poor? Well, one thing that does have to compete is the work force. Everyone has to compete with cheap labor in developing countries, and that does drive down wages. And these develpoing countries stay poor and desperate becuase of trade policies via WTO, IMF and World Bank. They loan them money knowing they wont be able to pay it back and require the countries to privatize public services and drop their protective trade barriers so that the international conglomerates can exploit the cheap workforce and natural resources of the country.
The big corporations see the government as there to protect their right to unlimited profits and everyone else's expense. They rely on mass consumption, and 99% of people working spend most of their income consuming goods. Whether you earn $40K or $100K, you do not have any political power to change this system. You only get to vote on candidates preselected by giant corporate sponsorship and media coverage. You only hear news that doesn't threaten the corporate media's ability to maximize profits. We need to take back our democracy from the corporations.
We have to put limits on corporate power: reform, regulate, and rewrite the corporate charter.
Start by hosting a house party to show and discuss the documentary "The Corporation". Also, learn more by watching "Manufacturing Consent" and "Orwell Rolls in His Grave".

Like this question? Is it about George W. Bush?
And while some do, can you prove where I took a question not about Bush and made it about Bush?
Doubt it.
So, your generalization is proved wrong.
(Also, did you see any foam? Any insults?)

Liberals don't have an issue that they can talk about without looking like communist. So, they demonize Bush with lies and name calling, like the little minds they are. They all want their welfare checks to keep comming.
