For those of you who have had babies. Do you prefer to deliver with or without an epidural? I gave birth twice one with and one without and felt the one without just went by alot faster.

I had 2 with and 1 without and about to have this next baby without. It went so much faster and I had more control of my body. Yes it hurt but it was so much faster and easier. After all said and done I did not have to wait to regain feeling in my lower body and legs. I was able to move about I say within an hour after delivery. With the other 2 when I had the epidural I had back problems from it. It is great to experience both so you know what to expect. I personally like the old fashion natural childbirth.

My sister an I recently had children a month apart. I didn't have an epidural and she did. I recovered quicker in the hospital and it was less traumatic for me as well as it went much faster. My sister however, had less pain. Also, I was more involved with the birth which I enjoyed and she was very loopy and drugged up during hers. I say no and she says yes. . . . . I guess it is all just a matter of opinion.

A lot faster but more pain...lol
I feel that the epidural was wonderful, pretty well felt nothing but a little pressure. I personally don't know how you women do it without the epidural. I keep telling my friends that when they have their babies to remember one word..A simple word..EPIDURAL

OH MY GOD......I WOULD NEVER HAVE A BABY WITHOUT AND EPPI..I APPAULED YOU LADIES THAT DO IT WITHOUT. I NEED ALL THE MED'S I CAN GET. I ACTUALLY DIDNT WANT THE EPPI AT FIRST BUT IM A DIABETIC AND THE DOCTOE SAID I HAD TO HAVE IT BECAUSE OF MY LOW TOLERANCE OF THE PAIN. THE PAIN WAS MAKING MY BLOOD PRESSURE RISE, SO I HAD TO HAVE IT. I FELT ALOT BETTER AFTER THAT.
