If you say "I am in business" you are talking about your profession or occupation. If you say "We are in business!" (talking to a colleague or business partner, where 'we' refers to 'you and I', then it means that 'we have a deal' or 'we are in agreement' or something like that.

If you are 'on business' then it means that your visit is connected with your work (as opposed to 'for pleasure').

If you are trying to indicate that you are engaging in business, the former. If you are trying to indicate that the trip you are taking to New York next week has a business purpose (not personal), the latter would be more common.

depends. if you are talking about how you have a business then it would be "to be in business".

if you're talking about the reason for taking a trip related to business it would be "to be on business"

depends on what your trying to say: if it is like a bussiness trip and ure leaving, then you saw I will be on bussines related stuff.... if it is bussines like a store then to be in bussiness
