I agree, it is really disturbing that these girls mom's let them wear thongs!!! You don't get panty lines if you wear boy shorts, they could wear those instead. Thongs just have too much sexual connotation for 10 or 12 year olds to be wearing them. It really grosses me out to even think of them wearing a thong..........It's like little girls asking to be looked at as sexual people........who cares if they have a panty line, their butts aren't even developed enough for guys to be checking them out!!! And guys who understand that are much to old to be looking at their butts anyway! it is so wrong...........wow...........I need to stop or I will go on about this for way too long..........lol.

How are panty lines GROSS in comparison to a LITTLE GIRL wearing GROWN WOMAN lingerie or NOTHING at all..........
THATS whats GROSS!! These kids have their words and definitions mixed up..........AND whats up with all the PARENTS buying these things for these CHILDREN!!
And you wonder why they grow up and become prostitutes or the kids you hear about getting raped or even worse YOU SEE THEM ON MAURY and hear YOU ARE NOT THE FATHER 5+ times..........
Its really blame to be placed on the parents.........and if my daughter tells me at the age of 11 she wants a thong Im going to buy her some flipflops..........Thats the only thong I know available to KIDS!!
COME ON PARENTS GET YOURSELVES TOGETHER!!!
There is a way to be parents and friends without being too friendly and less parenting............
**COMMANDO>>>GROSS-O!! hahaha

I think it bothers a lot of people. However when your little and you are looking up to trashy pop stars and playing with bratz dolls, how do you really expect a 12 year old girl to act. Your parents must of taken the time to teach you that you don't need to be a skank to be pretty. Rather than getting anoyed you should be thankful that you know what is appropriate and whats not.

pantylines are not gross, just something that has to be dealt with. a thong is better than nothing though, because the fabric of your shorts can rub up on parts and that can cause problems....so i guess the little girls are just watching too much tv. thier mothers have to be buying these thongs though....i dontunderstand it.

okay honey...you really just need to get over this. i understand it bothers you, but this type of thing is just a matter of personal preference...it's just underwear! as long as they're not posing for anyone in them, then it's no one's business but their own, especially since there parents are obviously okay with it. the type of underwear someone wears has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO DO WITH THEIR CHARACTER. If you can see it when they bend over, then they're not wearing the right size, but either way, it's for their parents or your coaches to say something to them...not for you.
