u must tell from where u wanna come to india.continental serves delhi from newark,american serves delhi from chicago.air deccan does not have any international flights.u can either try british airways or lufthansa as they serve most major airports in the world and fly from five indian gateways.air india is also a cheap airline and there service though not as good as other airlines but its still bearable depending on their cheap flights.u can also use lufthansa's special website for cheap fares from the u.s. to india.the link is:

Cheapest is the Air Deccan , a no frills aircraft for rs.1(45 US cents!) but it is also the worst as it gets delayed all the time. You need to buy the food and bottles etc.

It depends on from where you are coming...
if it is the US continental airlines is the cheapest in economy fares...they fly direct to the capital city New Delhi from chicago i guess

...not sure but whatever u do don't go with Air India. I went on it last year and it was the worst airline i've ever been on.
