i think green highlights would be kinda sexy :O) but it all depends on the dresscode and how strict your boss is I think how long you worked there and how good a worker u are would also would come into play in that question but it shouldn't matter

It really just depends on the resturant. Are you a waitress? If the place has a strict dress code, then you would probably get written up, at least.

If it's a place like Applebee's, then probably not. I had a friend who did green highlights and her manager liked them so much, she got them.

It really just depends on the place. Use your own judgement, or talk to a laid back manager, who will understand and not judge. (Cause we know some managers are like that ;) )

Ask first. The answer is almost certainly yes. I knew someone who worked at Sears, and was fired for dying his hair red. Definitely better to research this one. I think most customer service places would look down at that.

In jobs where your appearance is more important, e.g. jobs that require dealing with the public, employers have a lot more latitude in making rules about your appearance. Green highlights could probably be grounds for dismissal if you refused to undo them.

I would ask your boss on the safe side. Then you wouldn't have any problem. It is either a yes or a no.

Yes, if you are breaking the dress code of your employer, they could fire you.
