i want to go to a store so i can actually see the bag, not order online. what's the best store that has a wide variety of (inexpensive) durable school backpacks? ps. suggesting bags will be helpful too!

go to like JCPenny or something.. most department stores at malls have backpacks during the time that most people go to buy school supplies. office max and staples have back packs too. LL Bean has pretty cool backpacks and Walmart/Target also have backpacks. dude theres lots of backpacks out there that are nice/cheap/and durable. just gotta shop around

whatever your local sporting goods store is. I personally prefer oakley but they are no means inexpensive. inexpensive, i would recommend jansport or columbia. i am also fond of slings as opposed to full backpacks and jansport makes really good ones. you can get an idea of who makes what by going to ebags.com and seeing the styles offered and getting a better look at them in the stores.

I got my last backpack from Academy. Just look in department stores and they should have a rack or two with them.

See if there is an L.L. Bean outlet or retailer near you. I've had their backpacks all though school and they're very well made and durable. :) Good luck!
