Cartilage hurts more but i hope that when you had it pierced it was done with a needle by a professional. Through experience i had to learn that you can not pierce cartilage the same way you would pierce your lobe. So basically your cartilage should not be pierced with a piercing gun...it will not heal properly and can become infected...trust me i know. Personally i would have gotten my lobes pierced first if i was you.

I got my first piercing when i was just a baby (1 years old). But when i was old enough to realize, for me the cartilage hurt the worst, Ive got both of them on each ear plus 3 holes on the lobe. Good luck

nicely i have been given my second lobe and a cartilage mutually and for me the cartilage did not damage even as they pierced it notwithstanding it damage a lot afterwards yet i ought to nevertheless sleep on it. Then the lobe damage extra even as they pierced it notwithstanding it did not damage afterwards. so i'd say the cartilage hurts worse yet its extremely not that undesirable

cartilage! when you get it they should tell you all the facts. you have to clean it often and keep the earring in for a year before removing it. mine often gets infected when I've never had infections in all my lobe piercings. its a lot of work and something you'll have to really stay up on as the ear continually attempts to close up.
