There are tons of dwarfs. If you listen to gimli in the two towers when they're marching to Helm's Deep he's talking about the difference between male and female dwarfs. You just don't get to see them in the movie.

Do you mean in Moria? All the dwarves died that lived in Moria because they awoke the Balrog and that's when all the goblins started coming in. If you meant left on the ship, Gimli was the only one to have left. (a long time after Frodo did though).

all of the dwarves in Moria were killed, but there r dwarves in other place. Gimly comes from mountains in the north, where Bilbo went in "The Hobbit"

Uhhhh Gimli is still alive after its over so I'm sure that there are some others that are still alive too.

there is gimli and his people. but i think some of them left with the elves. who knows what j.r.r tolkein did with the dwarves.
