The subject of Wealth consumes a majority of human activities (work) and thoughts (how to get more of it, how to give it away). Unlike other religions, it can be measured quantitively in Money units. It is the basis for happiness. Happiness without Wealth cannot be fully realized.
Wealth is power. More is better. Enough of it is impossible. It is addictive. One can easily become an extremist at it with or without it.

Good points all, but don't you think that leaves life a bit "hollow" or at very least,"shallow?" When everything has a mercenary flavor to it then where is the sense of love for love's sake? When money & acquisitions become the "be-all and end-alls" of existence, then what of the "nobler virtues?" I'd prefer to be poor with a sense of the eternal at my back urging me on, than in pursuit of a constant 'chimera' of nonstop "cost-benefit" analyses. There is little inherently wrong with achieving great wealth, it 's what you choose to do with it that matters... doing things for the right reasons is what is most important.

You're a little late--people have been worshipping wealth and possessions since the dawn of time! Seriously, there was a guy in the 70's called Reverend Ike who believed that God wanted His believers to be rich. He allegedly owns a fleet of Rolls-Royces (a different color for every day of the week, appointed in mink), diamond rings, expensive suits, and multiple mansions. Favorite quote: "The Bible says that Jesus rode on a borrowed a**. But I would rather ride in a Rolls Royce than to ride somebody's a**!"

I am a Christian, and for me to worship money is unthinkable. However, you can make money or whatever else into your own god/religion. Who says you can't? You have a free will, which you got from the real God!
All I have to say is accumilate as much wealth as possible, enjoy life to the fullest, get what you can...because in this short span of life is all you are going to have. Because the life here after, you will not be able to enjoy. Have a good life!!!

What benefits your sanctuary provide for newly converted members? Just curious... Is any one would be a member or only those who already in power? Is that god of yours also kind and loving? ... that god not generous for sure, as I see it in reality....
