Who thinks George Bush is a good Presidesnt?

You are just saying you don't think he is a good President but how many Presidents have you lived under??

Of those Presidents which ones did you think were good and why?

The big question is do you have enough information and experience to know whether or not George Bush is a good President?

I believe Bush has been a very good President. As good as Reagan was and better in some respects and not as good as Reagan in other respects. You can gripe about the economy all you want and yell about the deficit. But the deficit is only 2.3% of the total GDP. The economy is growing at a rate of 5.4% this year. Unemployment is very low and jobs are truly plentiful if you want to work.

The one area where I believe Bush has fallen down is on illegal immigration. There needs to be a program of prosecuting employers who hire illegals and there should be a national database of SSN's that are checked immediately for any person wishing to be hired on a job. If these reforms were put in place then illegal immigration would be a thing of the past in the US.

Bush has had the strength to stand up to foreign dictators and say enough is enough mostly to his own detriment. He is in negotiation with two more as we speak trying to stem their nuclear ambitions. I have not seen a President willing to do that much since Reagan was in office.

I get tired of the people who yell about Katrina and how the govt was slow to respond. What about the govt of Lousiana and New Orleans? They put the idiot mayor back in office. What was their responsibility that they were so slow?

I believe Bush has done a fine job in office and will continue to do a fine job through 2008.

Well, I don't think he is the worst. He isn't a Wilson but he's making his way there. He "liberated" a country for the cost of 2500 Americans, ( who could probably care less about Iraq), and the countless numbers of Iraqis. He is on a mission for democracy. This mission only dealt with Iraq. Afghanistan will be put out of this because of a true hunt for bin Laden. This mission of democracy has not dealt with North Korea. This whole country is under the yoke of a cruel dictator. And lets not forget about Africa. In specific Zimbabwe. Here is another dictator riding its citizens in the ground. How about Burma ( no called Myanmar by the ruling military junta) where they have held the leading democratic reformer under house arrest for years. For these reasons listed I can faithfully say that President Bush will go into the annals of history as a lack luster President

Hes a family man, he's a republican, and hes done a lot better in these situation than and liberal could have. Liberals are more, sweep it under the rug and hope no one trips over it kinda people. So Yah, ilike george bush and if it was possible id vote for him but since hes already served two full terms, ill just vote for the next honorable republican who steps up to the plate.

George W. Bush will go down in history as being the most ineffective, unintelligent, stupid President the United States has ever had - unless they elect his brother next, that is. That man has no business being the president of anything, let alone the most powerful nation on the face of the earth.
