I have news for you all: there is more to Africa than lions and pyramids. I'm going to Senegal on Monday to record the traditional music there. Pretty much all music popular now came from West Africa, via the transatlantic slave trade, the blues, jazz, rock, hip hop, etc.

Yeah, I'd like to go big game hunting, shoot rhinos and lions just as manly men like Teddy Roosevelt and Earnest Hemingway did. What, those animals are almost extinct? Never mind.
