It is the base instinct of most males - to a fault mostly. We enjoy solving problems, each of us do this in a different fashion - but the base of this is always true. The more we can solve, the more of a man we are. This is why we have a disconnect with females - they can deal with the abstract better than we can - when there is no solution we don't know how to cope with it well.

Not all boys are like that, but the ones that are, tend to be stupid and end up hurting themselves or even others physically or mentally. They try too hard and end up pushing themselves over their limits without even realizing it.

irrespressible optimism and willingness to try is part of what keeps them young. it also helps them learn humility, when they get into trouble and have to ask for help. unfortunately, when they become men, they often lose these qualities. if and when you ever marry a man, you might become frustrated by the fact that he won't try to do anything unless he's absolutely sure of what it is he's doing.

If boys think they can do everything, and girls think they're equal to us boys, does that not equate to girls thinking they can do everything??????
