You've got to give people an offer they can't refuse (most people already have a favorite pizza place), so bite the bullet and offer a great price on your pizza's for one week and make sure each and every pizza you give out is absolutely DELICIOUS (so that they'll be willing to pay the regular price in the future). Service should be fast and friendly too (but I'm sure you already know this, duh). Good luck!

Have a designated night for half-price pizza - and only on dine in and carry out (not only delivary - if you do that). A local restaurant that I have been going to since middle school (I'm 26 now) is still going strong and still has half-price pizza. That should grab the HS students coming in as well as families. Best day to do this is on a Thursdays - closer to the weekends and moms and dada's will be less likely to want to cook. They are always completely packed on that day.
Also this same pizza place (also has subs, salads, and italian desserts - not frozen) has coupons for on it's pizza box tops (not the paper ones but ones you actually have to cut out of the cardbouard. They are big and very appealing to the eye.
You can also try advertising to local summer teams (swimming/baseball/soccor) to come to the restaurant after their games/meets for pizza and ice cream specials.
HOPE THIS HELPS!!!

If you can swing it, possibly offer a simple free dessert on a certain day of the week for those who dine in. Or maybe you could go with coupons. For some reason people really dig the "free" concept. Even if it's a free milkshake after a dinner purchase of $10.00 or more. Good Luck.

Sounds like you are doing a lot to pull people in...........Make sure that you advertise all the extras that you just wrote.......Also offer something different, something that people cant readily get else where. My suggestion.........fried pickes with a spicy remulode sause. Have a huge variety of toppings for the pizza. Offer things like fresh basil and blue cheese or chopped garlic etc. odd things...........make people curios. I would love to see a pizza place offer me a wheat crust instead of the same old pizza crust. Thats a great idea................Offer different crusts!! When you close this reply where you are located...........Ill try it when in the area.

I would say try to offer a variety. I know being in a pizza place its kinda hard but I do know, from own personal experience, that variety is the key and offering diffrent selections of food helped our restaurant... good luck :)

Try a pizza eating contest.
How about a commercial.
Try getting a radio show to advertise for you.
Hire Janice Dickinson's models to stand outside of your store.

Go to a factory in town or a large business office. Offer coupons for free meals or big discounts. Once they are there and like what they see they will tell others. Hope you have a big parking lot.

You said yuor pizza place is a family friendly place.if you haven't try this.i can suggest you plan to have a PIZZA CAMP where all children al any member of the family can make their own pizza style. in that way you can establish you store image, you can simply show them how much you them and maybe in that way you wil know the taste and the interest of your market when it comes to a pizza. In selling, sometimes we often forgot this : we spend so much effort, money for our own benefits and we forgot to picture out to them thier benefits and importance to us...ex. our customer is like blood,we loss our we die. do if we lose and not give importance or we keep doing things very obviously and not hitting the right target...the busines die too.
