Most of the showers I've been to are only women, but there have been men at a few. They still do everything the women do. More people means more fun. If you want to invite the men, go ahead. Things are changing now and I think it's great if the men want to be involved too.

I just attended a co-ed baby shower 2 weeks ago and it was great fun. they called it a babyshower/pamper party. All the women were inside playing games and opening gifts while all the men were in the backyard throwing horse shoes and drinking beer and shots. The women were supposed to bring the usual gifts while the men were only to bring diapers. It was a really great turnout and needless to say the couple had a lot of diapers to hold them over for a while.

You can have men at your babyshower. Now days its what people do really, i think it's a great idea for men to get involved in every aspect of the pregnancy even the babyshower.

It seems like over the last two years I've attended about 9 babyshowers that are geared toward couples, and of course single friends of both sex. Times they are a changing and both men and women now attend baby showers.

traditionally they are for the women friends and family. I fought my mom on this and wound up not having one at all because I wanted it to be for the whole family not just the women. More modern showers are starting to include the men as well, and I like this trend better. My family is mostly women anyway, but my husband's family has a lot of guys and I wanted them to be allowed to go as well. we are trying to conceive a second baby now and moving soon too so when the next one comes I am going to do the shower myself and invite everyone, guys and gals.

Last year I was thrown a Baby shower where both my husband and I were both a part of including our male friends and family. We wanted to get both men and women involved in such a joyous occasion and it will also make the soon-to-be father feel like a part of the celebration as well because it is usually the woman who gets most of the attention when it should very well be the two!

My husband and I had a co-ed baby shower. Everyone came--family, friends, coworkers, etc. It was a blast. I think it's time men start taking an active role in these things. Babies aren't only for women, you know. My husband was reluctant about it, but really enjoyed it. Also, other family members have followed suit.

babyshowers are for anyone who wishes to attend. There is no longer a male/female line drawn when it comes to babyshowers, and if you feel like going...GO!

Now days, men are often included in the shower and not just the dad. Put something on the invite, like guys will bbq in the back or all family and friends welcome for a nice get together.

Baby showers are traditionally for women but it is your shower and you should feel free to do what ever makes you happy. Every pregnancy is different so make your own rules to suit your own likes/dislikes.

Have a great shower!
