Yes, I do - most are addicted to substances, they need chaos to survive. Others are co-dependents and date alcoholics and drug abusers because they love the unpredictable and are addicted to the charm of the substance abuser.
Funny, when the drama person finally recovers - others EXPECT them to continue in their behavior.

A former Drama Queen

Yes, one of my best friends is a Drama Queen. She always has some kind of drama in her life ~ with her husband or family or dog or whatever. If she can't find drama in her own life, she'll get into your business and try to make drama in yours. And she gossips so she can share drama with everyone else. I love her to pieces, but I truly believe she would dry up and blow away without drama.

Yes. There are some peoples lives that revolve around drama. It's like they feed off the drama like others feed off attention.

Yes I do. Some people, I believe, need to have "drama" in their lives to make them feel alive. They feel as if the chaos keeps them in touch with others. In my opinion, they think very little of themselves and feel that they have very little to offer, therefore they spread gossip and create drama in their lives in order connect with the other people in their lives.

yes, absolutely. to be sure, whatever environment we grow up in, we tend to re-create in our adult lives, whether good or bad. people who have been neglected or abused usually make choices in friends and relationships that will eventually lead to the same dramas they grew up with. getting out of this kind of cycle requires help from people who understand these cycles and how to get out. friends and family usually can not help because they are elements of the problem to begin with.

Yes, I believe some people are bored with their life or don't think of themselves as interesting so they either start or entangle themselves in dramatic situations....
