I posted 2 questions about what guys think of makeup on girls and 95% of the guys who answered said things like "I don't want my girl looking like a clown," "We only care about what you really look like," or "I like my girls to be natural." Well guess what-I'm sick of hearing about that. I bet you don't realize how much makeup these "natural" girls are really wearing. We wear it to feel more confident about ourselves and not all of us cake it on like you seem to think we do. You're going to have to wait that 15 minutes for your girlfriend to put her face on, so just deal with it. Leave us alone about our makeup. Just count your blessings that you were born a guy and don't have to put up with it. And for the girls who believe in the natural look-count YOUR blessings that you can get away with not wearing any. We're not all naturally beautiful!

MORE POWER TO YOU, RUBY! You said it so beautifully. I am so sick of those comments about makeup too, especially hearing the guys who think they are all that and their woman has to be perfect without makeup.

I've read both Q's. Well its stupid because guys of course will go back to the strippers at the end of the day! And yeah natrual girls wear MORE than non like I wear less makeup then when they did a natural look for me!! And I LIKE my look, its a way of EXPRESSION and STYLE like clothing! Whew, power to yeah girl!

OK, what they are really saying is "I don't like obvious, stripper makeup on girls." If a girl has her makeup on right, 90% of guys won't be able to tell she has it on. So they're only talking about "those girls," not those of us who use it the way God intended. And I'm convinced He did intend it ;) No one really looks that great with the "natural" look...especially us white girls, we've all got some redness or dark circles or something!

i hear ya!
but if a girl is not that good lookin and cant be seem without makeup, she better not cake it up like a clown, so she won't enhance her..um, not so beautiful features, b\c w\ mu u usually highlight the feature u most porud of or want ppl to look at

I go for the real natural look, I only wear makeup on special occassions. I dont consider myself naturally pretty, i just have good coloring, i dont look washed out w/o makeup.

Ya you go Ruby. You and I are NOT going to let any guy insult us because of our make-up. Their not true men..their control freaks who love to control women. Whoever said that we look like clowns with the stuff on is a nerd....unless we load the stuff on it does not make us look like clowns, actualy it enhances our beauty. See you guys don't realize that the majority of girls do wear make-up, you just can't see it cus one most guys are not very observent and two because we wear our make-up to enhance our beauty not to be noticed.

Actually I wear very little make up, I'm talking mascara and some lip gloss, and I get compliments all the time. It doesn't take make up to look natural, and there is natural beauty.

Yeah I hate when the 'natural look' girls think they are so superior for going out with their shiny foreheads.
Makeup is fun and my guy loves it. Of course it can be overdone, but come on...each one to their own! And as for guys, you are just jealous because when you get a zit you can't do anything about it. :)

well sweetheart if you need or just like to wear makeup thats fine, but i like my chicas without chemicals, fish scales and animal fat on their face.
