build a huge fence!

think about it this way, you have a fence around your backyard right? do you hate your neighbors? do the feel like you are being mean because of that fence no. you just want to monitor how is on your property. there is a right way of getting into someones fence.....ask
people that jump fences get shot at.
it seems perfect.
also for all those that say they are not hurting anyone.
if you came home and a mexican had broken into your house but had cleaned up and was making you dinner do you say thank you for being so helpful unwanted intruder?

First, it is wrong because that is not going to stop illegal people to come to America. You are wasting money. They will find other ways to arrive to America.
Second, it is wrong because people are not animals and they deserve respect. Building a fence is not respectful and it recalls what happened in Germany years ago. Just imagine the same towards America. Build a fence so American won’t come to Meixco….because whatever reason. People are not animals.

Mexicans or other people from Latin America come to the USA for some money. They risk their lives for some money. They take the job that Americans don’t want and they don’t get the benefits that Americans have. America has hard responsible workers for cheap. They absolutely don’t deserve to be shot or something like it. To answer your own questions put yourself in the shoes of a Mexican. Think you are trying to cross the border….you deserve to be shot? Would you like to face a fence?

it's not about the fence. I know a lot of mexicans who have gone to the US to work LEGALLY and still americans treat them as if they were ilegal. Tell me something, when you see a mexican on the street do you ask him first of his legal status before you start looking at him in a bad/racist way?? Now, american not only has a fence, you have a RIVER!! a really dangerous, deep, river! don't mexicans swim across that river eventhough they can't swim?? what do you think a fence would do???? so, my question is, are you serious, do you think a stupid concrete / wire fence will stop mexicans to cross?? I dare you to go out this afternoon and imagine every mexican you can see is not there anymore. Would your life be really better without them? Are you willing to do the jobs they do? What is it of them that bothers you so much? We all should start being human first instead of americans or mexicans. because we all are not citizens of a country, we are citizens of the world.

Oh by the way, you think the government will hire illegal workers to build the fence???

Great idea Let's build a fence the length of the Mexican border.

Wait I have a better idea. Out source the fence to India and have them build it out of Chinese materials. That way we can increase the profits for Hallaburton Sure Halliburton they could get a Federal Grant to have the Army Corps of Engineers build the fence. Charge the tax payers for a 5000 mile long Mexican border fence built in modules in India.

Awaiting transport to a Federal fence holding facility.

Awaiting EPA approval

Awaiting final inspection

Awaiting bipartisan...

... the fence is to keep the Illegals *OUT* not keep "Mexicans" in If we could get the Israelis to help build our fence I'd be pleased as punch... We could return the favor by helping the Israelis subdue those murdering Palestinians. Fair trade in my book. The real problem is that we are being sold out by divergent politicians of *both* parties... The fence and amnesty are but small parts of the whole puzzle... the Trans Texas Highway, the SPP, NAFTA, The Law of the Sea Treaty, Aid to Mexico... and more are all steps towards a "North American Union" much like the European Union... Look for the "Amero" to replace our currency... Soon you will be living in MexAmerCan... and you won't even have to move.

Okay first, stop watching Mind of Mencia. And second, who are you going to get to build those fences. I mean, corerct me if im wrong, but arent the laborers that usually do roofing, fencing and all that work immigrants? Of course, theres nothing wrong to legally work in the US but still. You know, immigrants will always be around. This question has to stop! Are you really a proud American? Do you really support Bush and his administration?? Huh? Jeez, cut it out. Stop trying to create a mess and piss people off. I would love to see your face when someone in your family tells you that your from some kind of mexican descent. LOL...priceless.

OH and anyone breaks into any house, Black, white, purple, green, orange, aliens, yoda. My god. It depends on the person planning to do it. Ugh, im disgusted...but I guess we need people to ask questions like this to make work go by faster, right? And people like me to answer of course....

Just make everyone legal. Then you don't need a stupid billion dollar fence that won't keep anyone out anyway. This whole immigration thing is just a ploy to stop people from thinking about the Iraq war mess. And in your example, if that mexican was starving and I had plenty, I would feed him like a good Christian should, not shoot him.

Also, since you obviously know how to use the Internet, do a little research and find out how much illegal immigrants pay in taxes (yes, they pay taxes) and how much they cost us by using in social services. I think you will be surprised by what you learn.

think about it.

If the Great Wall of China couldn't keep out unwanted intruders,
a big fence isn't going to do it. Better sign up for those Spanish
lessons.

The idea itself is fine, but a fence around the border would take too much money to build andwould probably look horrible. Then, after a few years, someone will get through and the whole thing satrts all over again.

"immagrents"- Ha!
"monitor who you are"- What is this, the USSR, Big Brother?
"if you came home and a mexican had broken into your house but had cleaned up and was making you dinner"- Yes, of course. Naturally, they'll do that.

I don't know what kind of weird notions you've developed in your isolated little dome, but you'd better start getting over that sense of paranoia before trying to outline a plan for national policy.

Walls do work. Incidents of suicide bombing have dramatically decreased since Israel built a security wall. Mexico has its southern border walled off to keep undesirables out.

Build a wall. Patrol it. Fine and jail employers who employ illegals. Make English our official and mandatory national language. Create a program that allows guest workers in the country, when they are sponsored by a company and paid at least minimum wage, and receive full living and health benefits from that company.
