Have a house in Lake Tahoe---QUIET if you want to get away from everything. Also went camping there once---saw some bears--interesting. Tahoe has a lot to offer in terms of outdoor activities--because of the lake. But this place is especially great during the winter. It's beautiful; we have many ski resorts in and around the area. Only problem? The traffic can get really bad when you're trying to get out if here. Oh yeah! We do have gambling and shows if that's your thing.

Lake Tahoe is very beautiful -but the water is COLD! Near to big casinos & also boating, hiking & in winter- skiing. Lots of beach area. Fun to visit.

Lake Tahoe is really pretty and relaxing. It depends on what time of year you visit. If you go in the summer time you can do outdoor activities or hit up the casino. If you go in the winter you can ski or go to the casinos. It is quiet there, I prefer Las Vegas!

Absolutely beautiful
the only issue is far too many people who do not respect the beauty. Great skiing/ boarding - water is really cold though

LIVED THERE IN 1979-1980 IT WAS A NICE PLACE THEN.
