i'm using IE 6.0 and I've tried re-booting and that didn't work

Do you have the latest version of IE? Go to updates at microsoft and check to see if you have the latest version, and all the updates needed. There is a repair option in some versions of IE, but we need to know what version your running. a good place to get troubleshooting steps is to go to www.helponthe.net

try runing a defrag if that does not work get a copy of webroots spysweeper or pestcontrol from www.ca.com and use them, if all else fails try reinstalling internet explorier

turn off your computer and log back on again. this fixes many many computer problems
