Try the Mr.Clean Magic Sponge. I know for a fact that it cleans leather wonderfully.

dont use any liquid, it will dull the leather, you have to chip it off with your fingernail.... good luck!

wait till it dries then rub it gently to remove it .. or use acetone, ether or benzine ..
